Star Wars: Galactic Horizons! Need Staff!
Star Wars: Galactic Horizon is back, although we are starting from scratch! We have two dedicated staff, direction and a game plan!
If you are a Coder, please feel free to email me, contact me in game, IM or on our website. We're looking for coders who want to help bring the game up to speed and add their own touch, also! Inexperienced coders are welcome, also, but SOME coding experience is required. We're also looking for builders who want to create and expand the Galaxy! We have plans for improving current planets and areas, including the new Coruscant and Kashyyyk areas, and a vast improvement in weapons, armor and other items. We're also giving builders a chance to build projects of their own desire. We're fairly lenient with new builders, so come one and all! CONTACT INFO: Email: YIM: stephengrubbs Website: MUD: |

Re: Star Wars: Galactic Horizons! Need Staff!
Star Wars Galactic Horizon is looking for coders and builders. We're looking for innovative staff who can add something unique to the game, as our current staff does. Not just a builder, but a builder who adds in unique quests, NPCs, items and more to the game!
We have put up our modified SWFotE 2.1.4 code, and need more dedicated coders to help make it something completely unique! We have alot of coding ideas and and, of course, welcome fresh ideas! Our NEW website is up at so stop by there and register if you want to join! Please register with the name you will use in game. Thanks, hope to see you around the Galactic Horizon! -Grube, Owner |

SW:GH {A NEW ERA}
Ok, Star Wars: Galactic Horizon's staff decided that we're being limited by the timeframe that our MUD is set in. The Empire/New Republic thing is over done, and played out.
Besides that, our areas are HUGE, but thin. They have very little actual content. So, to avert the current situation, we are starting with a fresh FotEFUSS code and building up! We'll take what we liked from the old code and trash what we don't! We're looking for coders and builders who have an interest, if not a passion, for Star Wars, and good, clear knowledge of what they are doing. We have staff who are knowledgeable in the area sof both building and coding, and are looking for more who want to add an artistic flare to the galaxy! If you are interested in building or coding for us, please contact me at the following, or jump in game and see if you can catch an Admin on! Email/AIM: YIM: stephengrubbs Website: |

A New Horizon
Ok, we have officially reformed, and the Coding staff has began cleaning the things we like from the old code. We are now using the most recent SWFOTEFUSS as our base.
We have enough coders, but we are needing builders! If you have any experience with SMAUG, SWR or FOTE feel free to contact us! Contact an Immortal in game, visit the website or email me for information! We have completely fresh areas, we have gutted the stock areas, and are building from scratch. We're dividing planets up into cities and wilderness, each city and wilderness area gets its own zone. We are making the areas smaller so that we can add in as much content as possible. We want more mobs, but more so we want more mobs with valid interactions. Sure, there have to be the normal background mobs, but even they will have something unique to them. If you are a new builder, no worries! We have each new builder to the MUD make a small 50 room area that is crammed with as much content as possible. Usually takes about 5 days for them to get the hang of our building ethics, and then they are given an area to build. Of course builders can build specifically on things they are interested in, but we try to keep the building to certain areas (eg: Finish Coruscant, then move to Hesperidium (In ame system), then move to Vandor-3 (Same system), then move to Mon Calamari, and 2 other planets in the Calamari System, etc) We can have multipleuilders working on one planet, since we can do multiple cities per planet. We just need to keep things as Canon as possible, which is why we use Wookieepedia for a lot of sources. If you are interested, here is the contact information: Website- Email- MUD- horizonmud.net:8201 Thanks! Grube, Owner A New Horizon {MUD} |
