| Codebase Headquarters features the official MudWorld Revision series of CalareyMUD, ResortMUD as well as a modified version of the SMAUG with features that have been adapted by the Realms of Despair. Additional downloads and webrings are also available. Codebase Headquarters no longer offers a live MUD for you to visit. However, please visit our friends at the Realms of Despair. Started on May 8, 1997, our first MUD known as ResortMUD was created as an embassy where anyone can connect and socialize. There were only a few areas and the location was mainly used for meetings made up of multiple administrators from many different MUDs and resource sites. On occasion, ResortMUD served as a training ground for potential new staff destined to work on other MUDs. Since its inception, we have been combining codes, mostly SMAUG and Circle, to end up with the new codebase known as ResortMUD. ResortMUD offers most of the things that you see on a typical MUD and much more that you do not. We also have an adult role-playing codebase derivative in release known as CalareyMUD.
