| Scattergood MOO is a Harry Potter based roleplaying game in which players take on roles as students in a school stationed in Colorado, USA. The MOO is based off of Rowling's theme but with a few things different; we've separated from Hogwarts by removing Houses, adding a unique Advisor system (like counselors), changing several IC rules, and revamping the theme so that Voldemort has not and will not ever come to power. Stationed in 1990, Scattergood School is a magical school located in the mountains of Colorado. Aside to it is Schiller Academy, an area where the Dark Arts are taught freely to students as well as their other studies. As it is an extra, it is available only for players on accepted application, and mainly used for Tiny Plots (major/minor events in the storyline.) Scattergood is a newbie friendly MOO, but we require players to adjust quickly to the use of decent English skills. There aren't any quests or goals or coded spells, it's all roleplayed to allow the freedom of choice to our players. The game's lots of fun and we're always looking new ideas and thoughts, so the more creative and inventive you are, the farther and faster you're going to move ahead with interesting character options.
