| If you are new to the MUD here is a little information. It is ROM 2.4v6 based and modified. It is run by mature, professional people so there are NO power tripping teenagers trying to flex their MUD muscle. We are long time mudders that realize this is a GAME! We want to have fun here with everyone else. We are not interested in forcing an RP world on anyone. We feel that Equinox has and will continue to create its own RP environment. We have added many things that we feel enhance the game. Probably the biggest is the remort classes, sure other places have done this but we like ours best. We do allow PK but only in clans so if you want a peaceful existance, (as peaceful as a combat MUD will allow) that is not a problem. We are always trying to make Equinox a better place and have implemented many player suggestions. Other features include a bounty hunter (who is excellent for making a statement), a forger (for enhancing those prized weapons), time bombs, mob programs, auto-questing, an automated auction system, familiars for magic users, the ability to possess mobs, treasure maps leading to buried treasure, an arena that allows one-on-one against players or generated mobs as well as a free-for-all RUMBLE mode, room affect spells, and over 100 areas to wander and play in. There is a clan system that is set up to allow nearly complete autonomy for the leaders to run them the way they see fit, as well as build a clan hall that makes a statement about who they are and who they stand for. Pricing for clan hall improvements is reasonable and nearly anything you can dream up, goes. You may purchase the rights to sell things in your clan as well as to have portals to jet your members around the world in no time flat. We are still expanding our clan system, so now's the time to get your little kingdom established! A PLAYER RECRUITMENT drive is now in progress.
