| Your planet has suffered a mass exodus of its indispensable worker caste, and you are among a small number of your elite race who are called to ascertain the roots of this crisis. Yet, despite the urgency of the situation, there is something mysterious you sense about the disappearance... Welcome to the universe of Quark. We are an ambitious group aiming to build a MUD that intrigues and challenges its players. We refuse to be bound by the restrictions of others. Developed from scratch in Java, our cutting-edge infrastructure allows for the creation of a unique gaming environment--including such characteristics as as a grid-based, phased strategic combat system. Our custom browser-launched client enables a degree of feature-rich integration not possible with other MUDs. We are currently in the alpha development phase.
