| Outremer is a role-playing environment constructed from the ground up with a target audience in mind: Serious Role-players. Our emphasis is on social RP and political intrigue, spiced up with a dash of swashbuckling derring-do. Outremer has been carefully designed to foster and maintain quality RP. The setting is replete with internal and external conflict and the playing area, while large enough not to be claustraphobic, is small enough to concentrate the player base. Outremer's setting is reminiscent of late 16th century/early 17th century France. In other words, the France of Dumas' Musketeers. Outremer is not our world, however. It is home to more than one sentient race and magic is a fact of life. Outremer is now open for playtesting! Plots large and small are afoot!
