Announcing: Meridia LP Mud


For several months, myself and a few dedicated individuals have taken things we've liked from many different libs and assembled a brand new MUD with many interesting and exciting features. The details include, but are not limited to:

100 level system with wishes and reports for continued variance
Level/class-based spell/skill system
PlayerKilling is allowed with hard coded limits for level variance
Full ANSI support
Fast skill/stat based combat system
Subclasses for higher level players to broaden spell/skill range
NPCs of all levels from solo killing to mass party killing
Newbie help files to guide new players
Stat-based skill system to define a character in unique ways
Statistical rankings keeping track of top players in many categories
Arena battles for honor and rewards without death/level loss

Brand new system, in search of players to bring us out of the beta period and into 'gold master' per se. We're looking to test out a few things with live players before December 1st and then open live at that point.
