It was 20 years ago today that Scott Fahlman first put the original :-) into a mail message.

I'm fond of the regular ole cat, even if the whiskers look like hair protruding from the ears. I do like the cat looking over the fence, too.

Myself I tend to use boring smilies like :-), ;-), ;-p etc.

One guy on Zeb always use (: instead though - and another uses :O).

The most common smiley I use is ;->, which I picked up from a guy called Boxman on ArmageddonMUD a couple years ago.
