There's a world of difference between

1) agreeing with someone sometimes, disagreeing sometimes, and having something interesting to say either way and

2)  trying blindly and desperately to **** the **** out of their leg regardless of the circumstances. It's creepy.

Seriously.  Did someone kidnap the real Threshold and give his userid/password to a three year old child?  It sure seems like it lately.  We need to mount some sort of elaborate rescue plan to get the real deal back.

Which is fine- not every post is going to appeal to every person. If it's not interesting to you, you'll glance it over and move on. No harm, no foul.

However, the post in question was on-topic and extended a point made by the original post (big company:commercial MUD::commercial MUD:'boutique' MUD). Hardly "trolling", especially when when the accusation comes from someone whose only contributions to the thread (and many others) were two-line flames.
