| Dinotopia is a book written and beautifully illustrated by James Gurney. It's about a young boy named Will Denison and his father, Arthur, who are shipwrecked on a strange island. They soon discover that the island is home to many species of dinosaurs.. and humans! The dinosaurs and humans live together peacefully, teach each other, work with each other and help each other in a symbiotic relationship. Dinotopia MUCK is a text-based roleplaying game where fans of the book are invited into the world of Dinotopia to play their favorite species of dinosaur, prehistoric mammal, or a human.
