Aurora Sky - MUD Description | |
Legend, no matter the beliefs of the bard repeating the story, tells of a great land that was created by the gods to house the mortal races. There were places in this land that stayed so cold that the ground stayed eternally frozen, and places that were so hot that even the sand was said to have burned. Harsh as they sound, they were places of plenty for the cratures who lived there. All was well, until the wars came. The spirits and demons who shared the god’s world become jealous and angry that such weak things such as mortals could even gain entry into their City, even through death. Most believed that beings of such feeble mind and spirit deserved to be cast into Oblivion. They rose up and fought the gods for control of the City and the gates to Oblivion, and in the process, much of the great land was destroyed and sank into the sea forever. What is left behind is the known world of Aurora Sky – Anadoris. Some scholars believe that the name refers to a kingdom that was spared the destruction, but any evidence of such has been lost in the ruins that cover the world. |
