As for MUDs, there certainly is no legal problem allowing a "James Bond" character name in a game that's not about spies and espionage.


Fair enought.

There can be in such a Game a Character named "James Blanchart" whose real last name is "Bond", but doesn't use it because of all the trouble its given him both in and out of the business.

It's these little quarks that make characters fascenating--especially when played well.
