Point taken, and in the situation you described, I see the good in disassociating yourself from the negative impressions people like that give of your game and it's players.

It may not be that big a deal, but you could still have a friendly, ooc word with the player and ask them not to do it again. It is just very bad manners in my opinion to go and advertise one MUD on another. Just pointing out that it will not do your MUD any good would be enough. If the player continues to do it, then it just proves that the player doesn't care to much about either MUD, or the people who made and maintain that MUD.
