It surely has been a while. Darksun: Clash of Sorcerer-Kings is back, the project was down for over 7 monthes. Need builder's badly for this huge mud, creative writers who have the ambition and skill to make lively areas set in the harsh desert-world of Athas. Coders are welcome as well, but I have a head coder and you would be working under him. E-mail me if you are interested in building or writing, or simply helping in anyway with the mud. There are so many aspects that go into creating an RPI and I cannot even name them all. My HTML isn't that great either and I am doing the webpage right now, so someone good with webpages is welcome.
My e-mail is or , the shabby webpage is located here: the host for the mud. darksun.genesismuds.com if you want to connect the port is 5040 into the above host. Hope to hear from you. -Delerak |

An RPI on a desert planet ruled by sorcerer kings...
Is this like an Armageddon clone? |

The mud is called "Darksun: Clash of Sorcerer-Kings"
Armageddon lists its theme as "Struggle for survival on a dying desert planet; strong Dark Sun influence". Do the maths... |

Not so much a clone, simply pulling from the same TSR game world...which TSR/WotC usually has a holy fit over...

I've heard it described as "it's like Armageddon, only with everything that Delerak saw wrong with it fixed" (and if that isn't an accurate description sorry, but it's what I've heard from a (possibly ex) builder.
If I were you Delerak I'd get rid of the frames. They suck and are really just horrible. I'd also get rid of the splash page, it's completely unnecessary and if you can, replace the Dark Sun artwork with your own. It's really a lot more impressive to have original artwork specific to your mud. Good luck with it. |

I am looking for staff to help with my mud, not ignorance to confuse those that might be interested. The webpage will be re-done when I get a webmaster, John, thanks for the input.
And, no it's not a clone of armageddonMUD, it's going to be an RPI Darksun mud just like I said, whether the code has similitaries is completely up to me. Other ways to contact me that I did not list earlier. AIM: Delerak ICQ: 23233741 MSN: YAHOO: Delerak Thanks, Delerak |
