Well, I guess I can't complain to the admins, since the admins of TMS have stated that the matter is dealt with. But it obviously harms the reputation of TMS and the rankings when such obvious cheating occurs, and yet the MUD's presence in the list seems to remain unchanged.
If they were listed lower on the list of MUDs, I'd be more in favor of supporting it as a case of a younger/smaller MUD learning the ropes. But given that they're in the top 20 shouldn't they feel some sting for what they've done? Perhaps punishments are already listed somewhere on the TMS site, I'm not sure - but it'd be handy to know what happens to such folks, else where is the incentive? Either cheat along with them, if you have no morals; or remove one's MUD from TMS entirely and state that the voting rules are not enforced here?! |

zynor, get your head out of the sand and pay attention to the posts, will ya?
They were following the rules. The wrong rules, but the rules that they had seen posted on this very website. Unfortunately those rules had changed, and they missed the change. They made a mistake. They were confronted with it by the webmaster. They were quick to correct their mistake, and the issue is resolved. When Synozeer says the matter is closed, then the matter is closed. If you have a problem with that, take it up with Synozeer. He's the guy who owns the joint. Yeesh. |

Synozeer said no such thing. Yes, he responded, but I didn't see him closing the topic in any way. Are the questions regarding punishment of those who violate the rules so shockingly off-topic?

Are questions about punishment for muds that violate policy off topic?
Yep, sure are. This thread was about one very specific mud and its alleged violations. These violations were corrected, and no "punishment" was necessary. So the point, in -this- thread, is currently moot. Being moot, it is also off-topic. |

Is Jazuela missing the "moderator" title beneath their name?
Zynor, feel free to post whatever you want. If the mods say its uncalled for, fine, otherwise, feel free. |
