We've got two pumpkins, a big bowl of candy and a shotgun in case the kids get rowdy.

Not much of this "Halloween" stuff around here in Europe. I'm perfectly fine that way, too much commercialized fuss going around and little kids begging for candy. Fortunatly, It hasn't really "sinked in" around here yet so I'm not expecting much kids to drop by here...
Hopefully. Otherwise I'll have to deploy landmines next years, it's not like a few kids will be missed. At least not by me, muahahaha! |

Halloween's my favorite holiday of the year. When else can you play dress-up as an adult and not be looked on as some sort of freak (unless you live in San Fran I suppose)?
So I've been wearing my costume since 1 - took me 2 hours to get into it, because of the 50 silk buttons in the back, and the old fashioned corsette underneath. That's what I'm doing TODAY - just having a blast wearing my costume, for my own personal amusement. Tonight I'll be giving out 58 packages of candy - I had 60, but I ate one and saved one for the hubby. Once they're gone, the lights go off and I go back to mudding for the rest of the night. |

I had about 6 kids come to my door - all middle school aged kids.
Decorated the house up a bit. and then took the kids out to get their stash of sweets and was home and on the computer by 8:30 pm!!!! Its now behind us and I have a lot of chocolate leftover!! Woohoo, Being the chocoholic I am. I am not upset in the least!. |
