| Created by the CSA in cooperation with the Empire, Outpost Station's original purpose, to provide a relaxing holiday destination for senior Imperial officers, underwent a revision to become what to many represents a final attempt at peaceful co-existance between humans and aliens. Built as a 'neutral' station, it is protected by its own security force, loyal only to the station itself. To those who remain on the security's good side, they do an excellent job of keeping the average visitor free from the ravages of crime. To those who wander onto their bad side, words such as mercenaries and brute squad are used to describe their tactics. As part of its role of neutral location, Outpost Station houses offices for virtually every major and minor government in the galaxy, including the New Republic, CSA, a few Hutts, and the alien union. Also rumored to have long-term offices on the station are the Empire and several bands of space pirates. |
